UAV Funamentals

3 day course

A recent economic report indicated that commercial UAVs will generate 70,000 new jobs. Unmanned Vehicle University is giving a three day UAV Fundamentals Course at New York Times Square Jun 10-12, 2014. starting at 9AM. On the last day, a drawing for a free drone will be held and the course will finish at 3 PM. The course includes a free copy of our new textbook (below): Introduction to Unmanned Systems ($87 value) and a copy of the UAV Fundamentals Course on DVD. The live courses includes a module analyzing commercial UAV business start-up applications including agriculture, communications, food delivery and many more. The course starts with the basics and builds to advanced technologies.

Lt Col (Ret) Fred Bivetto is a UAV Test Pilot and actually created the UAV Test Pilot Program at The US Air Force Test Pilot School. He is the Chief Operating Officer for Unmanned Vehicle University. He was the Director of Curriculum Standards and Chief Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) Test Pilot at the USAF Test Pilot School (TPS), Edwards AFB. He was responsible for the development and maintenance of $37M, 1200 hour, Master of Science accredited flight test curricula with over 20 years of engineering, aviation and project management experience. In addition to managing the pilot, navigator/combat systems officer and flight test engineer curricula; he was initial cadre for the development of the experimental Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)/RPA test pilot curriculum and the school’s first Chief UAV/RPA test pilot.
